A Deep Dive Education Experience for Clinicians, Leaders & Faculty Evidence-based Practice: Making it a reality in your organization A transformational journey to improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes This unique program provides a “deep-dive” immersion into evidence-based practice (EBP). Participants will learn the step-by-step evidence-based practice process as well as effective strategies for integrating and sustaining EBP in clinical and academic organizations of any size or level of complexity. Participants will leave this experience with an action plan for implementing and sustaining evidence-based practice change and transforming their organizational culture. Key areas of the leadership track include how to leverage an organization’s strengths/attributes to build, grow and sustain an EBP culture as well as how to overcome an organization’s weaknesses/barriers related to EBP. The leadership sessions are interactive and provide an opportunity for participants to share experiences and formulate strategies to implement upon return to their work settings. Academic Track: For faculty and clinical educators who will be teaching and/or developing EBP courses, as well as integrating EBP throughout curricula in educational programs at all levels. The academic track adds to the EBP skills learned throughout the early part of the immersion week by layering in additional learning about how to create and/or teach EBP and integrate it throughout educational curricula at all levels in both academic and clinical settings. Key areas of the academic track include how to design appropriate EBP content for students at all levels of education across healthcare professions as well as evidence-based teaching strategies to use innovative approaches to effectively deliver content. If you are looking for a single program to ignite and sustain the evidence-based practice shift in your organization…this is it! |
