Tri Council Report: The Tri-Council for Nursing is an alliance of four autonomous nursing organizations each focused on leadership for education, practice and research. In January 2017 the Tri Council they released a joint statement in regards to the essential role the RN has in community team-based care and the achieving of individual and population health outcomes.

AHRQ Center for Evidence and Practice Improvement (CEPI): The Center for Evidence and Practice Improvement (CEPI)* conducts and supports research and evidence synthesis on health care delivery and improvement; advances decision and communication sciences to facilitate informed treatment and health care decision making by patients and their health care providers; explores how health information technology can improve clinical decision making and health care quality; catalyzes and promotes sustainability of improvements in clinical practice across health care settings through research, demonstration projects, and partnership development; and operates the National Center for Excellence in Primary Care Research.
Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine - Oxford: The Centre is housed within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences within the University of Oxford and is led by the Director, Professor Carl Heneghan. Cincinnati Children’s James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence: Cincinnati Children’s believes in and practices evidence-based decision making (EBDM) as a way to achieve the best, safest care for children. Patients, purchasers, regulators and others expect practice to be based on sound judgment and best evidence; however, the proportion of clinical practice that has a basis in published scientific research is lower than one would expect. And the time it takes to translate new research findings into clinical practice can take years. With this in mind, Cincinnati Children’s designed a division within the James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence to promote, support and spread EBDM to the point of care.

McMasters Evidence-based Clinical Practice: Come to McMaster, the birthplace of evidence-based health-care, to join in one of two closely related workshops. The first caters to clinicians who wish to improve their clinical practice through enhanced skills in reading, interpreting, and applying the medical literature. The second is designed for clinician educators interested in enhancing their skills for teaching the principles of evidence-based practice to others. Evidence-based Practice Centers (EPC) Program of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality: The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), through its EPCs, sponsors the development of various reports to assist public- and private-sector organizations in their efforts to improve the quality of health care in the United States. These reports provide comprehensive, science-based information on common, costly medical conditions and new health care technologies and strategies. The EPCs review all relevant scientific literature on a wide spectrum of clinical and health services topics. EPCs also produce technical reports on methodological topics and other types of evidence synthesis-related reports.
