This newly-developed three-week program covering systematic review methodologies and critical appraisal skills offers asynchronous recorded lectures and activities, with three required live sessions. No prior experience in conducting systematic reviews is necessary! The course will examine the key components of systematic reviews using the Cochrane Collaboration methodology and will include lectures, group discussions and practical exercises, such as facilitated time to begin developing a systematic review topic.

Fuld National Institute for EBP awards 2023 funding
The Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice (EBP) in Nursing and Healthcare at The Ohio State University College of Nursing has selected four proposals to receive Fuld Funding for the 2023 cycle.
All four projects – which will receive $2,500 each – focus on evidence-based practice and evidence-based quality improvement initiatives.
“These initiatives showcase the enormous impact that nurses can and must have in all kinds of healthcare settings to affect positive, evidence-based change, both for patients and for themselves,” said Sharon Tucker, PhD, APRN-CNS, EBP-C, FNAP, FAAN, director of the Implementation Science Core of the Fuld National Institute for EBP who led the Fuld Funding review and selection process. “We are proud to support this great work and look forward to seeing how these passion projects truly improve lives.”

The goal of this one-year, mentored fellowship is to create premier Doctors of Nursing Practice experts in practice and academia who will accelerate the translation of evidence into practice and leverage the synergies between EBP, research and quality improvement to advance healthcare delivery and/or population health outcomes in real world settings. Mentorship will be provided by internationally recognized experts from the Fuld National Institute for EBP.
To achieve this goal, the fellowship will focus on:
