Focus Areas
The Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice (EBP) in Nursing and Healthcare is led by Sharon Tucker, PhD, APRN-CNS, PMHCNS-BC, NC-BC, EBP-C, FNAP, FAAN , executive director.
In addition, day-to-day operational guidance of the Fuld National Institute for EBP is led by Lynn Gallagher-Ford, PhD, RN, EBP-C, DPFNAP, FAAN , chief operating officer. The Institute was founded by Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk, PhD, APRN-CNP, EBP-C, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN , vice president for Health Promotion and University chief wellness officer, College of Nursing dean emeritus, College of Medicine professor of Pediatrics & Psychiatry, all at The Ohio State University.
The Fuld National Institute for EBP is a national hub for the formation, teaching and dissemination of best practices to improve healthcare quality, safety, costs and patient outcomes. The Fuld National Institute for EBP is comprised of four focus areas:
