Congratulations to Lynne Brophy for being selected to receive the annual National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS) Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Evidence-Based Practice/Quality Improvement Award. Lynne is one of the CNSs in Breast Oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard M. Solve Research Institute.
Award winners are selected based on their professional achievement and contributions to advancing the CNS profession in the United States. Winners have implemented evidence-based practice (EBP) and provided quality improvement (QI) changes that have had a significant impact on nursing practice, patient and family outcomes, and/or healthcare systems, including reducing cost. The award acknowledges a CNS for applying principles of EBP and QI to improve all patient care.
Candidates are nominated and selected to receive the honors by their advanced practice registered nursing peers.
NACNS is the national organization for the 89,000 CNSs in the United States and is dedicated to advancing the practice and education of CNSs. Learn more about the NACNS Award Program.
