The Ohio State University College of Nursing is excited to announce the fourth biennial EBP National Summit hosted by the Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare.

This National Summit will be held on May 24-26, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio. Take advantage of this opportunity to share your expertise in evidence-based practice through a podium presentation during concurrent sessions or a poster presentation.*
The Fuld Institute for EBP is a national hub for the formation, teaching and dissemination of best practices to improve healthcare quality, safety, costs and patient outcomes.
Themes for the 2023 National Summit include:
- EBP in Clinical Settings
- New for 2023: EBP Initiative to Address a Leadership Issue
- Leading an EBP Initiative
- New for 2023: Person-Centered Care
- Research about EBP (or) Research on Implementation/Translation Science
- New for 2023: Teaching, Evaluating, and/or Innovating in Education in Academic or Clinical Settings
Note that sections in the application have a 1000 character limit.
In addition to seeking abstract submissions on the themes of EBP in Clinical Settings, EBP Initiatives to Address a Leadership Issue, Leading an EBP Intiative, Person-Centered Care, Research about EBP or on Implementation/Translation Science and Teaching, Evaluating, and/or Innovating in Education in Academic or Clinical Settings, the Fuld Institute for EBP encourages submissions that uncover more than healthcare disparity but rather solutions that are evidence-based, including work that has a positive impact on historically under-served populations and on delivering equity in healthcare and education.
* One hour themed concurrent sessions consistent of three different 15-minute presentations with 5 minutes of question and answer after each presentation. Poster presenters have dedicated time for attendees to visit the poster area each day of the Summit.

Please watch for more information on our May 24-26, 2023, in-person event later in 2022! The next call for abstracts will be for the 2025 EBP National Summit.
Receipt confirmation sent to all submitting authors. A panel of national EBP experts will review all applications received by the deadline. Notification of outcome will be conducted by email to the primary contact listed on the submission on or around November 23, 2022. Confirmation of acceptance is needed no later than December 9, 2022.
