Practice + Process = Quality
Process improvement is half of the quality formula. Practice improvement (EBP) is the other half. When combined true quality is the result. The Practice + Process= Quality (PPQ) Model is the structured framework to guide you through this innovative approach to achieve optimal outcomes.
This two day event is for professionals in process improvement and in evidence-based practice to enhance their skills and knowledge through a structured and innovative approach by combining evidence-based practice with process improvement methodology in a never-before-seen way and gives participants the chance to gain valuable insights, actionable strategies and unique benefits in the following areas:
- Skills and Knowledge
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of how practice and process improvement work together to create a culture of excellence and increase your ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate initiatives.
- Application
- Participants will learn how to integrate evidence-based practices and process improvement techniques into workflows seamlessly and will discover practical approaches to support and enhance quality outcomes.
- Relationship Building/Networking
- Engage with evidence-based practice (EBP) and quality improvement (QI) experts and tap into a network that is encouraging of ongoing improvement and integration.

Continuing Education Disclosure Statement
This program awards 14.5 contact hours of continuing education for nurses
- The Ohio State University College of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
- The Nurse Planner and Planning Committee have no conflicts of interest to disclose.
- There was no commercial support or sponsorship for development of this program.
- Contact hours are awarded commensurate with participation with a minimum requirement of 80% program completion.
Additional Registration Information
- Minimum required technology hardware and software
To participate in this program, you need a computer with a Windows 10/Mac OS Catalina 10.15 operating system, CPU speed: Intel Core i5 Processor, 16GB RAM, Office software (including Word and PowerPoint) and a PDF reader. If you are participating in the virtual program, you will also need a high-speed internet connection with 100 mbps download speed and 100 mbps upload speed, a webcam, a microphone and the Zoom application/add-in. A printer is recommended if you like to read articles as hard copies.

To participate in this program, you need to be comfortable downloading, opening, closing, printing, editing and saving PDF, Word and PowerPoint files.
