Course Description
This dynamic, application-oriented leadership program is tailored for early-career healthcare professionals and aspiring leaders. It aims to build confidence and competence in leading and collaborating with others throughout their careers. The program includes a thorough self-examination of interpersonal competencies, strengths and areas for improvement. Following these in-depth self-assessments, participants will focus on applying these skills in both team and workplace environments.
Participants will obtain
- Certificate in Leadership from The Ohio State University College of Nursing Leadership Academy.
- One optional one-on-one coaching session in the first six months following the program from a highly experienced coach.
- Unlimited access to peer coaching within the cohort, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Weekly check-ins during the program with an assigned Accountability Partner to ensure continuous progress and support.
Methods of instruction and evaluation
This accelerated, hands-on training will take place online in a synchronous learning environment. The sessions will occur twice per month for three months and will each run 60 minutes in length.

To participate in the program, you will need
- Access and use of email for communication
- Access to a laptop equipped with audio, video and Zoom capabilities
- Access to productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Attendance at both sessions
Individual program fee
The program fee is $1,200 per person. Upon conclusion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
