Overview: Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) science is the study of strategies that promote adoption, implementation, scale-up, and sustainment of evidence-based interventions into routine practice. The goal of D&I science is to maximize and equalize the benefits of effective interventions for public health and well-being. This workshop expands on publicly available training courses to deepen investigators’ understanding of D&I research questions, concepts, designs and methodological considerations so they can move toward incorporation of D&I in their own research portfolios.
This accelerated Master Class will convene an interdisciplinary cohort of investigators with some research experience who are interested in learning more about dissemination and implementation science. By the end of this introductory program, participants will be more familiar with the language and concepts of implementation science, how to build these concepts and methods into a scientific proposal and evaluate implementation outcomes to improve health care quality.
Methods of Instruction & Evaluation:
This accelerated introductory training will take place in person and virtually over the course of three weeks:
Wednesday May 21st, 2025 from 12pm-4pm EST in person on OSU campus
Wednesday May 28th, 2025 from 12pm-4pm EST synchronously online (virtual)
