New self-study courses launching this summer

The Fuld National Institute for EBP is launching two new asynchronous self-study courses this summer. These courses are designed to support clinicians, educators, leaders and healthcare professionals seeking flexible learning in evidence-based practice and implementation.

Principles of De-Implementation of Low-Value Care in Healthcare Settings

This course introduces de-implementation as a structured, evidence-based process for reducing or discontinuing ineffective, tradition-based or potentially harmful healthcare practices. Participants will learn how to identify a practice as low value, as well as the sequential steps, strategies and outcomes of the de-implementation process.

Teaching EBP in Clinical and Academic Settings

This course prepares clinicians, nurse professional development specialists, EBP mentors, advanced practice nurses, and healthcare leaders to teach evidence-based practice across clinical and academic settings. Participants will deepen their understanding of the EBP process and learn practical strategies for teaching EBP to diverse learners.
